What OMF Does
OMF is a free tool that helps you create and edit your OMF file which consists of Products. Products come in optional Templates which are sets of Products with photos and descriptions in all languages. OMF.me is a free platform where you can optionally publish your Business, Products and more online.
Using OMF
Anyone without a login can: – Browse everything on OMF.me for free – Create an account to build their own menu – Export their menu data anytime (it’s yours!) – Delete their account whenever they want
If you create a business menu: – You’re responsible for keeping your information accurate – You must be 18+ or have parent permission – Publishing to OMF.me is optional – One free business account per person
Your Content
You own your menu data. Period.
We never sell your information
You can export everything in OMF format
You can delete your account and data anytime
Published menus on OMF.me become public (your choice)
Content Rules
Don’t post: – False business information – Inappropriate or illegal content
- Stuff you don’t have permission to use – Spam or harassment
We can: – Review content before it goes public – Remove stuff that breaks these rules – Suspend accounts if needed
The Fine Print
OMF is provided “as is” – we do our best but don’t guarantee perfection
We’re not responsible if your menu info is wrong or causes problems
We can update these terms (we’ll let you know)
The OMF standard is open source (MIT License), but the apps are ours

What We Collect
Account stuff: – Email address (for login) – Password (encrypted) – Language and currency preferences
Your menu: – Business name and info – Products, prices, descriptions – Images you upload – Multi-language content
Usage data: – Which features you use – Error logs (to fix bugs) – Basic device info
How We Use It
To make OMF work: – Let you create and edit menus – Publish to OMF.me (if you choose) – Send important service emails – Fix bugs and improve features
We DON’T: – Sell your data (never) – Share it without permission – Publish your menu without your consent – Collect info from kids under 13
Your Data
You control everything: – Export your complete menu anytime (OMF format) – Delete your account whenever you want – Choose what gets published to OMF.me – Update your info through settings
Where it lives: – Stored securely on Supabase – Encrypted in transit and at rest – Backed up regularly
Sharing
We only share data: – If you publish to OMF.me (it becomes public) – With Supabase (our database provider) – If required by law – With your permission
